I'm a wee bit excited, today I get to show you possibly the cutest ever products to grace these pages.
With Valentine's Day coming up it's safe to say heart print is everywhere and to be honest I find it all a little twee. Heart print is never really one of my go to prints. Having said that these Marks & Spencer Limited Collection Heart themed beauty goodies are just adorable. Besides that, they're also fantastic beauty products in their own right. M&S are upping their game continuously on the beauty front and they have me excited about what they'll come up with next.
For now though let me show you the few pieces from the Heart Collection I got to try.
It's a very cute set. The right side of girly without being ridiculous. Initially when I'd looked at it I'd thought to myself they're HEART shaped for goodness sake, they're going to be like toy makeup. Let me say this, I couldn't have been more wrong. The quality was quite unexpected.
Not usually being one for bronzer, or even swatching it usually, I took one look at this one and decided to give it a go. The beauty of this bronzer is that you can go for a really light dusting or build the colour up for a more bronzed glow. It's lightweight on the skin and applies really easily though I'd use a different brush to the one it comes with. I have to say I was impressed. This was the first out of the bunch that I tried, needless to say I couldn't wait to see what the blush was like!
I adored this blusher straight away. The hearts look amazing nestled into the pattern, more than that it's a perfect shade of pink blush. When I swatched it I was concerned it may be too pink so I decided to apply a bit and see how that worked out.
I'm really very impressed with the colour. I didn't go mad and this was only a light dusting of blush but I adore the colour! I'd recommend this whether it's Valentine's Day or not! All of the above left me foaming at the mouth to get on and try the die-of-cute lipstick...
The shade shown is Rose and I had (probably) ridiculously high hopes for this one. Thinking back that wasn't very fair of me but yes, high hopes. A vivid deep pink colour with a very slight shimmer running through it. When I swatched this on my hand I was surprised at how creamy it was and couldn't wait to pucker up...
Oh my! *weak at the knees* I love it love it love it! It will go perfectly with the NYC Midtown Polish! A great shade of pink for any skintone I'd imagine and so so very creamy. Left my lips feeling ever so sensual. Staying power, with tea drinking and kissing (ooerr) wasn't very long (about 2 hours) but it settled into a balm like feel and overall definitely their piece de resistance of the Heart Collection.
All costing less than £10 with the lipstick coming in at just £5 I'd say this little beauty of a collection by Marks & Spencers should be on your list regardless of the time of year. Solid products with the cute addition of the heart packaging.
What do you think? Are you weak at the knees for the M&S Heart Collection?
