Rose Gold FOTD

Not feeling up to wearing nice dresses lately has been rubbish but it has given me plenty of time to experiment with what I have in my make up drawer.

Danielle from A Blog from Blackpool as mentioned before, sent me a beautiful Too Faced Cream Eyeshadow (as shown here), not only that but she threw me out a wee tip regarding it too. The tip was to use the cream eyeshadow with a bronze or gold coloured eyeshadow to achieve a rose gold colour. So, admittedly, I was a bit excited to try it out.

I also thought it would be a good time to slip in a little miracle product that I'll be talking about in more detail later this week...

FOTD

Face
Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch Concealer
NYC Skin Matching Foundation
Right so hold up a little minute. I've a full review on this foundation and other NYC foundations coming soon but this little beauty is amazing. I had to tell you that right off the bat. It's light, the coverage is brilliant and it didn't cause me to break out in any capacity. Not only that but Superdrug currently have NYC products at just £2.49!!!! Including the Skin Matching Foundation shown!

Back to it

  Eyes
Too Faced Cream Eyeshadow, shade Jailbait
MUA Pearl Eyeshadow, shade 04
NYC Show Time Mascara
NYC Sky Rise Mascara
NYC HD Liquid Eyeliner
(Remember the Superdrug Offer!?)

So I applied the cream eyeshadow over my lid as per this post then I dusted the bronze coloured MUA eyeshadow over the cream. The results were so cool!

It does indeed appear slightly rose gold. I'm sure if I applied more then the colour would be more intense but I'm not usually hugely over dramatic with my makeup. The NYC foundation is the only thing on my face apart from the concealer under my eyes. I finally have a go to foundation! It didn't even need pressing powder or anything like that. Very impressed.

It's a great daily FOTD that gives you coverage plus you're not wearing a huge lot on your face so your skin will thank you!

As for the kick ass rose gold effect, cheers Danielle!!! I love it!!

What do you think? It's definitely different for me but I like it!

  4. Oh this is pretty. I never wear make up as it reacts so badly with my skin.
