I had to let you all have a nosy at my Birthday pressies, well a good few of them anyway. I've been utterly spoiled. I'm normally a simple gal when it comes to Birthdays. Go all out for Christmas but to me Birthdays are more of a sentimentality.
I was certainly not expecting half of what I got :O feel completely spoiled today.
Well, here you go! My Birthday Loot!
Chocolates, flowers, Postcard scarf, fox jumper, leather bound notebook, rose gold watch and aweseome mug all from my amazing husband, Lee.
Personalised mug from Riley
New straighteners from Mum <3
I feel I need to take a moment to prepare you for the sexy that's about to come up out of this page and smack you in the face.
Meet Big Red
Isn't he phenomenal? I've been stroking him.. I think he likes it ;)
Big Red was from my Dad :D
The day itself was amazing. Full of ups and downs but ending on a complete high. For there is one present I haven't told you about yet. I had woken up sick this morning, in fact right at this moment I'm blowing into a tissue and my nose is so red and sore blurgh! wasn't in the best place for Birthday Celebrations. I knew my parents were coming up in fact, they were worryingly insistent about visiting ON my Birthday. So they arrived early afternoon. Complete with my baby sister Rachael, all the way from Newry. So chuffed she came up with them! I was then told my presents were in their car, so I pottered over to where my Dad was standing, at the boot of the car and he proceeded to gesture to the back seats. I did wonder what on earth would be in the back of the car and so I warily opened the back door. I glanced at the seats and couldn't really see anything and then this mound starts coming at me......
The whole family, including Lee had planned and secretly plotted for over a month to have my sister who lives in Manchester (and we rarely get to see) fly over for my Birthday!!!!!!
I actually cried.
It was a kick ass day, I got some seriously thoughtful cards, epic presents and my whole family, parents and us 3 girls were together for the first time in years!
Plus the best thing? I got an hours uninterrupted napping time this evening. It was sheer bliss!
I'm off to scoff some birthday choccies now!
Be good!
Sera
