Easy as 1..2..3..

Nothing new or exciting today. Today I'm literally going to show you how I paint my nails.

I've had a lot of comments recently about how I manage to get my nails so neat. When I reply with ''I use the 3 step method'' people often have no idea what on earth I'm on about. No Q tips or cotton buds involved unless there is a complete catastrophy!

This is a little video tutorial on the 3 step method. I've carried this method with me since the morning of my Wedding which was the only time in my life I've had my nails ''done''.

If you don't already use this method to paint your nails I beseech you to give it a go. It is so easy and incredibly efficient both on your time and your polish.

This is not a new method but nobody seems to use it! Do you use this method already? Or do you, in fact, have a better method?

  1. This is how I apply my nail polish too, it's so easy and quick. It irritates me when brands bring out 'quick' brushes that are too wide because it just makes it more difficult!

  2. That's exactly how I paint my nails, and always have done! It usually comes out great, as long as I'm not rushing in which case I get some on my skin, but I usually leave it over night and then the mistakes are erased in the shower as the hot water loosens it from the skin.

  3. I Use a cuticle stick or brush with a little nail polish remover to make sure my bas line is neat as my nails are a weird shape :s

  4. "That's what second coats are for" - so true!! I try to do this method but my nails are so short and rubbish that they always end up messy!
