Perfect Spring and/or Bridal Manicure

If you follow me on Instagram you'll know I may have snuck in a wee Rimmel London purchase or two recently when I popped into the Chemist. I'd already selected the Space Dust in shade Aurora (it was too pretty to pass up) and a top coat I was in dire need of, when the helpful assistant told me that if I popped one more nail polish into the mix then I'd nab myself a free liquid eyeshadow. Never one to pass up a bargain I then went back and picked up Black Cab (also by Rimmel London).

I was all about the Aurora though. I couldn't wait to get that sparkle on my nails. Would you believe that I have had the Rimmel London Space Dust on my ''statement'' fingers for 3 days and have already changed the surrounding nails colour twice, opting for a third switch tonight. All the while keeping the statement nail and here's why...

Shown here with Essence Iced Strawberry Cream that a lovely friend sent down. I do so wish Essence would make it down this end!

Even when the Space Dust isn't in direct sunlight it's ever so special.

This is 2 coats of the polish and a top coat (by Collection, which, put quite frankly, is horrendous and just served to make me mad when I woke up the next morning with my nails all scratched!). You could easily get away with just one coat of the Rimmel Space Dust, especially if you use a colour as a base. Though trust me here, this polish stands on it's own two feet pretty solidly. I can't think of a glitter polish I have in my possession that's anything like it.

If you think the Space Dust was pretty in regular lighting, just wait until you lay eyes on it in direct sunlight, got your sunnies ready?

The delicate shimmering pink of the Essence Iced Strawberry Cream works perfectly with the Rimmel Space Dust, Aurora to create a really feminine manicure and this combination has quickly become my top favourite. Cost me less than a fiver and I can redo it as much as I like!

Something rather Bridal about this one. I love it, I really do. What are your thoughts? Have you tried any of the Rimmel London Space Dust range yet? Priced at £3.99 at Boots right now, with 3 for 2 across the range, if you haven't... go go go! I'm going to get them ALL!
