It's that time of year again when the fashion elite start gearing up for their related Fashion Weeks.
The press has been saturated recently with imaging showing us the SS13 trends and every day a new email pops into my folder displaying Monochrome, pastels and flower print. It all looks pretty fabulous though I'd warn anyone intending to opt for a back and white horizontal striped maxi dress be aware of what suits you.
That's the thing with trends. Much as though I love seeing what is up and coming I am very much aware that the majority of it won't work for me. That's where personal style comes in. A lot of people (including myself not so long ago) don't have the confidence to pick and mix trends. I'm hoping this will maybe spur at least one person on to being a little more confident in picking a SS13 piece up somewhere and styling it how they feel comfortable.
As I mentioned above it is indeed time for the launch of Fashion Weeks and on Friday past
The Ulster Museum played host to the launch of Belfast Fashion Week.
Kicking off on 21st March 2013 across various venues in Belfast, tickets will sell fast so keep your eyes peeled. I'm sure keen ''FROW-ers'' are on the ball already.....
Please check out Belfast Fashion Week's Official Facebook Page for all the latest information on the events and ticket info, alternatively pop over to www.belfastfashionweek.com.
Expect lots of monochrome, pastels, flower print, pop colours and the rest of SS13 fashion trends.
