You Are Not Alone This Christmas

Last year Kellie from www.bigfashionista.co.uk got in touch calling any bloggers who could spare their home page over the Christmas holidays.

I did it then and I'm doing it again this year. Let's make it a tradition shall we?

I've said it before on here, many times, and I will keep on saying it until I haven't a platform any longer. There are those that can't cope with this festive season. They're alone. They're broken hearted and they're struggling.

Is this you?

It was me last year.

Last year I looked at my own list and I lifted the phone to the Samaritans. With help I managed to make it through to my GP's opening and then I spoke to them.

These people are here specifically to help you make it through just one more day. We'll deal with the next one when it comes along.

So, if you are feeling like you cannot cope, if you cannot see a light, if you feel like you cannot go on please, please, please.... pick up the phone

And finally, if you are in Belfast and you find yourself with nobody to spend Christmas Day with and you'd like company, if you're new to Belfast and don't know anyone then you should feel very welcome to pop along to Common Grounds, 12 - 24 University Avenue, Belfast where from
12 - 3pm you will be very welcome to a Free Christmas Day Dinner amongst people in a similar situation.

Above all else. Please know there are many of us, including myself, that want to see everyone make it through Christmas in tact and safe in their mental health. We are all here.

Reach out. Pick up the phone. Speak to someone.

Wishing you a safe and merry Christmas
