The AF Bloggers Budget Challenge: November

So this challenge is a little different for a few reasons. First of all it is the November Challenge but with December festivities in mind. It's also the very first sponsored AF Bloggers Budget Challenge and a huge thank you to Clothing at Tesco for opening their virtual rails for our budget pickings!

5 bloggers this time as I got to take part too and this is one for the curvier among us. Clothing at Tesco were very confident in their sizing range so off we headed with our boobs and bums in mind.

What has surprised me about this challenge in particular is that every single one of us chose a well fitted dress. I can't even tell you how happy it makes me to see women of different shapes and sizes choosing not to hide their bodies under unflattering tunics but celebrating their curves in slinky dresses! 2 of our girls even opted for the same dress and it's the one I almost went for too!

Without further ado...

Me

The budget this month was £30 and with the festive season in mind we all opted for dresses.

I chose the Bird Print Dress, a gorgeous vintage feel dress with side ruching and bow detail. I hmmm'd and haaa'd for over two weeks there were just far too many pretty dresses to be honest. In that capacity I found it difficult to narrow down my choices (so I may have actually bought more myself.... maybe...)

I teamed the dress with long ruched gloves and because it was so clingy I opted to also purchase magic bum, tum and thigh shaping tights. My first piece of shapewear!

I added a pair of purple boots and the red faux fur collar I purchased from Asos in the sale.

The collar gave it a little winter edge and the gloves were just a sensible option plus I believe gloves add a little glam and class to any outfit.

I had set my hair in rollers and prepared to take these pictures when Lee came up with the marvellous idea of showing you my new to me but actually vintage typewriter! It just slotted in so well with the theme of the post I couldn't help but throw myself into the role...

 It's true love...

And yes, I am actually a typist and will be using it though maybe not *quite* in *this* style ;)

Thanks Tesco! I adore my new dress! And thanks Dad! I love my new-old typewriter :D
