I have fallen into a strange ritual. I don't quite know when it happened. At least, I certainly can't pinpoint when it began but before I knew it I was faced with the realisation that for a good few years now I've been habitually changing my hair colour to move with the seasons.
In Spring, Summer and even Autumn I'm perfectly content to have my hair somewhere as near to my natural shade as I can get. And every Spring I tell myself I'm never dying it again. It's not worth the hassle and other excuses are used as affirmation.
And then the inevitable happens....
The darker nights roll in and I find myself hankering for my other side. My husband likes to call ''her'' Red. Every end of Autumn / start of Winter I take the notion to go red again. The thought occurred a few weeks ago and I mulled it over only a moment before swiftly coming to the realisation I couldn't be bothered with the colour management it takes but.....
Sometimes Red just happens
And I'm ready for Winter!
Do you have seasonal hair colours? I hadn't even realised that I did!

ReplyDeleteI've just dyed my hair back to my natural dark brown for the first time in five years of varying shades of dark red..! Although it's pretty hard to tell the difference when the light doesn't catch it.
Thanks, it's just a wee Live XXL.

DeleteI lOVE it. I to scared to stray from my colour i have now as it took me so long to get here (natural brunette turned ginger, before it was so easily bought in the shops).
ReplyDeleteYou look fab!
If you can stay then do I just get bored, every Autumn / Winter on schedule lol x
DeleteSera I LOVE the new hair! You look amazing, perfect outfit for the post also! Stunning! ;) Nx
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely, darling! And I love that red. :)
ReplyDelete(I plan to go red soon, if I can work up my nerve.)
The reds lovely! It came out really well. I'm currently sporting a faded-red look I'm calling pretty-much-ginger, trying to get myself to a proper hairdresser to get it sorted out so I dont have to keep redying for a while! It's such a hard colour to keep.
