Today was chilly! I only noticed it so much because I went out in bare arms. The time for that kind of carry on is most certainly over! I will need to invest in cardigans, jumpers and light coats asap. Well, any one of those would be a start.
Today I chose to wear a gorgeous dress, again, donated by my Mum. I think she had gotten it for herself but the notion went off her quite quickly and it landed in my wardrobe :D
The wrap thing? I have no idea the point of it. It also came from Mum. I don't think she knows the point of it either. If it had sleeves it'd be amazing, but it doesn't.... I wore it as a type of shawl type thing and it's comfy enough for round the house and errands but I still don't get it.
Shrug/shawl/cardi thing by Primark
I am a little horrified at myself that this is the first time I've worn my little bow belt from Clothing at Tesco, I'm going to make up for it by wearing it with everything pretty much. I've had it quite a while and it's too cute not to wear really.
Footwear of choice were another little ebay bargain. I'd been wanting Chelsea Boots or something similar for ages and came across these cuties one night
They're a bit scuffed but sure it all adds character ;) I got them for £1.95 and they were originally from Primark.
Finally, yes! I got my first Birthday Present today! Only 9 days now! Getting a little excited. I gather that a couple of presents that my hubby had ordered arrived today and he couldn't help but give me one early. I wasn't about to disagree.
My very own Sera McDaid, Editor-In-Chief desk sign! It's so tacky and so amazing it's the best thing ever and he looked so pleased with himself. To be fair I don't normally write at this table, the chairs kill my hip but we couldn't miss out a wee photo op ;) If you want to see my scribblings, I mean ''work'' yourself, you can! Pop on over to www.quirkyweddingsblog.co.uk where you can join me in all things wedding-y. It's a droolathon, seriously. Such hard work...
Can't wait to see what else he has hidden away for me eeeeep!

Aw sweet, love your wee name piece! I really like this dress and the wrap on you - I think the wrap makes it look really stylish - you could also wrap it around your neck once & have it hanging down 2 sides like a regular scarf (if you must find a 'use' for it haha).

I might give that a go, it's so chunky and a beautiful colour I'd love to find something for it but the no sleeves thing is annoying lol

DeleteLOVE that belt so much. I had one similar from New Look but it was patent and very squeeky :p I couldn't work with it well at all.
ReplyDeleteAlso LOVING the nail shade :)
I know wraps and shawls aren't the most practical of items, but I do love them nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteYou have a stunning figure!! xo
